Forest Whitaker will announce Academy Awards nominations

The actor Forest Whitaker will announce Thursday morning the nominations for the upcoming Academy Awards announced the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Whitaker won an Oscar in 2007 in the category of Best Actor for his performance in the film The Last King of Scotland in which he plays Ugandan dictator Idi Amin Dada.
The actor will unveil 10 of the 24 nominations along with Sid Ganis, president of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Recall that the Oscars will be broadcast on 22 February Live Kodak Theater on the air network ABC.
