March Madness Wagering – Big 12 Tournaments
The Big 12 competition gets moving on Wednesday in March Madness wagering with first round competition. Those 4 contests are actually just an opportunity for teams at the bottom to get a shot to play the huge boys on Thursday. Kansas is the favorite in March Madness gambling lines to win the Big 12 Tournament but Texas and Kansas State shouldn’t be ruled out.
Kansas
The Jayhawks are the #2 squad in the country and they are the leading seed in the Big 12 competition. They may have a more difficult path to the tournament competition of the Big 12 championship though than Texas. If form holds then it will be Texas playing Texas A&M in the semifinals and Kansas competing with Kansas State. There is no question that at this time Kansas State is the team that seems like the most dangerous team to Kansas. Kansas has won 4 of the last five Big 12 conference tournament titles and they are a reliable favorite this time around around in March Madness gambling probabilities.
Texas
The Longhorns staggered down the stretch yet they still have lots of skill and might get hot in this championship and carry it over to the NCAA Tournament. They are still a team that no one wants to play. They have among the leading participants in the nation in Jordan Hamilton and when they are focused and competing defense they are difficult to defeat.
Texas A&M
The Aggies are going to make the NCAA Competition and they might win a game in the Big 12 championship. They are a team that victories with defense as they just do not have much offense.
Kansas State
The Wildcats are a genuinely threatening squad at the moment as Jacob Pullen is competing excellent again. The Wildcats are very capable of upsetting Kansas in March Madness betting and winning this competition.
Bubble Teams
Colorado, Nebraska and Baylor are all on the NCAA Competition bubble and can play their way in or out based on how they do in the Big 12 Tournament. Nothing like a little bit pressure huh? Nebraska has the impossible task of dealing with Kansas if they win their starting competition vs Oklahoma State and to get into the NCAA Tourney they would need to win that competition. Baylor would get Texas if they win their first round game whereas Colorado would get Kansas State if they win.
Remember that in the last 14 years of the Big 12 competition no 5-12 seed has ever won this competition.
