Now, there will no longer need a prescription to obtain the “morning-after pill” by the announcement of the Minister of Health of Spain. It will be sold in all pharmacies in the country, not to be used as a method of contraception but “as a method of emergency contraception to use in emergencies.” This is to reduce the number of abortions has doubled between 1998 and 2007, the morning after pill, will now be sold without prescription.
